Tuesday Feb 25 was another great day of Venice La Tuna Fishing. Both Capt Scott and I whacked the big yellowfin. We went right back to the lump on Tuesday and it was on. As I was showing my crew how to run the lines a 90 lb yellow ate the bait 10 ft from the boat. It was non stop action from that point on. I ended the day with 12 yellowfin between 70-120 lbs. Capt Scott was also on the fish from the get go. He doubled up on his first drift with 2 good fish and then his big boy ate the bait. Scott caught the biggest fish to hit the dock on Tuesday going 178 lbs. he also had 7 other big ones between 80-125 lbs. The big tunas are here and should hang around until mid-April. We still have dates open.
